Blue summer gown by Atelier Saint-Honore

        Jest jeszcze zimno, a ja uszyłam już sobie nową, letnią suknię - lekką jak płatki kwiatów dzięki cieniutkiej, jedwabnej tkaninie, przypominającej organdynę, lecz utkaną ręcznie z surowego jedwabiu. Ma niepowtarzany charakter, piękny kolor i perłowy blask. Błękit zestawiłam z mankietami i wyłogami stanika z kremowego atłasu jedwabnego. Aby suknia była lekka zrezygnowałam z fiszbin, sztywnika i płóciennej podszewki. Zamiast tego zastosowałam jedynie podszewkę z cieniutkiego, jedwabno - bawełnianego batystu. Ponieważ otwarty, wywijany stanik nadaje kreacji orientalny klimat, niezbędnym dodatkiem była moja jedwabna szarfa z metalowymi frędzlami zawiązana luźno i zsuwająca się z talii. W otwarciu stanika widać najnowszy, haftowany bawet z Atelier Saint-Honore, który niebawem będzie dostępny na sprzedaż. Do tej sukni założyłam również błękitną spódnicę - bardzo obfitą i sztywną, a na nią fartuszek z jedwabo - bawełnianego batystu w poziome prążki.

       I t's still cold, but I've already sewn a new summer dress for me. It's light as petals of flowers because it's made of a thin silk fabric, similar to organza, but woven by hand from raw silk, and tknks of that, It has a unique character, beautiful color and special pearl glow. I combined this blue color with cuffs and bodices edges reverses made of cream silk satin. To make the dress light, I gave up the boning, the stiffener and the canvas lining. Instead, I used only a lining of thin, silk-cotton batiste. Because the open bodice gives the creation an oriental atmosphere, there was unecessary to add my silk sash with metal fringes tied loosely and sliding off the waist. In the opening of the bodice you can see the latest stomacher, embroidered by Atelier Saint-Honore, which will soon be available for sale. I also put on a blue skirt for this dress - very rich and stiff, and on top of it an apron made of silk - cotton batiste in horizontal stripes.
