Two more photos of the latest, embroidered vest from Atelier Saint-honoré - this time with matching frock coat. In the fashion of the end of 80s and early 90s 18th century, I love a bright colors and contrasting patterns, which are connecting with true harmony. On the one hand, the costume vibrates in the eyes, and on the other hand, we have no feeling of dappled. I strived to this effect, when I've choosen this beautiful fabric with stripes made like chine a la branche from the 18th century, on the melange background. I combined it with buttons printed with cobalt cameos and repeating these colours in a different configuration in the project of embroidery. What do you say?
Jeszcze dwa zdjęcia najnowszej, haftowanej kamizelki z Atelier Saint-Honore - tym razem w zestawie z frakiem dla którego powstała. W modzie przełomu lat 80. i 90. XVIII wieku uwielbiam odważna, jaskrawe zestawienia kolorów i wzorów, które jednak po mistrzowsku łączą się w pełną harmonię. Z jednej strony kostium wibruje w oczach, a z drugiej strony nie mamy poczucia nadmiernej pstrokacizny. Do takiego efektu dążyłam wybierając tą nieziemską tkaninę frakową z paseczkami naśladującymi XVIII-to wieczny efekt chine a la branche na melanżowym tle, łącząc ją z guzikami z nadrukiem kobaltowych kameii i powtarzając te barwy w nieco innej konfiguracji w projekcie haftu.
