Late 18th century vest embroidered by Atelier Saint-Honore

Pamiętacie tą kamizelkę, kiedy dopiero zaczęły powstawać na niej dekoracje? Tym razem prezentuję Wam efekt końcowy haftu w stylu klasycystycznym według mojego projektu. Pod kieszonkami dwie niebieskie kamee,które będą pasowały do guzików fraka od kompletu. Z lewej strony odpoczywająca nimfa, a z prawej centaur uczący kupida celnego strzału. Wzory kamei zaczerpnęła z klasycystycznej biżuterii z XVIII wieku. Pozostałą powierzchnię zdobią haftowane girlandy i chwosty. Haft wykonałam zabytkową nicią jedwabną i współczesnymi cekinami na jedwabnym atłasie. Kamizelka stanowi komplet od stroju w stylu przełomu lat 80. i 90. XVIII wieku. Do you remember the vest when the decorations just started to appear on it? This time, I present to you the final effect of the classicist embroidery according to my project. Under the pockets, two blue cameos that will fit the buttons of the frock coat from the set. To the left, a resting nymph, and on the right, a centaur teaching cupido a good shot. Patterns came from classicist jewelery from the 18th century. The remaining surface is decorated with embroidered garlands and tassels. I made the embroidery with antique silk thread and modern sequins on the silk satin. The vest is a set from the outfit in the style of the turn of the 80s and 90s of the 18th century.
